A particularly useful source for applicants is the Society of Colonial Wars in the State of Connecticut publication dated 1941, Register of Pedigrees and Service of Ancestors, which can be found in a number of Connecticut libraries, especially the New Haven Colony Historical Society and the Connecticut Historical Society.
